It’s cooling off and we’ve got some cool dnb sounds coming your way. For November we are bringing to you Vixen Stylee from Titusville along with Vera Vera and Basilisk.
About the artists
Vixen Stylee is a DJ and MC currently residing in Titusville, FL. She has been a lover of electronic music since she was 16 years old. Singing across various music genres since the age of 4, she grew up in church choirs and participated in school choruses. For 20 years, she has been dedicated to DJing, paralleling her lifelong passion for singing. Vixen Stylee is a member of the all female deejay collective The Geishaz, representing music of various styles.
Coming from a musical background in rock/hardcore music, Vera Vera has been curating vibes and captivating dance floors with his signature mixes guaranteed to take you on a journey. As co-founder of the Jacksonville collective, Sound Union, has earned a residency at Myth Nightclub with a monthly night to push underground music. He mingles amongst all genres of house, techno, and DNB. You can expect the upmost pride and precision when behind the decks to showcase whatever genre he is tasked with and guaranteed to make feet move all over the floor.
“When it comes to music, I don’t care what genre it’s from, if it gives me goosebumps, I like it!” These are Basilisk’s thoughts on any debate over musical genres and which one is best. Focusing heavily on Jungle/Drum and Bass and all of its sub genres, he has an affinity for dark synth and heavy bass lines. Having the privilege to be immersed in the late 90’s to early 2000’s North FL music scene, he will cite examples of influence such as Hospital Records, Virus Recordings, Nervous Records, Defected and Hooj Choons. As well artists like AK1200, DJ Dara, DJ Sneak and Mark Farina.

The monthly JaxDnB Terrace Takeover occurs on the first Friday of each month at Myth Nightclub. On Fusion Fridays they offer free entry with college ID before 11:00 P.M. (you must pre-register for a free entry ticket – choose the free RSVP ticket and checkout on Eventbrite.) You can also get free entry all night by registering for our guest list via Ticket Fairy!
