Preethi’s passion for electronic music, particularly Jungle and Drum & Bass, led her to acquire turntables & learn how to DJ in 2011. Since then, she has become a highly sought after DJ in New York City and beyond. She is also adept at many other genres of dance music, her favorites being tribal & acid house, techno, & footwork/juke. In fact, Preethi is so skilled at various genres that she has played on lineups alongside world renowned headliners in drum & bass, jungle. techno, hardcore, AND house. She has played at many of the best clubs in the US including Avant Gardner, SmartBar Chicago, Elsewhere, & too many others to list. She has played guest mixes and/or livestreams for Metalheadz, Kool FM, Boxout FM, and DNB Girls, among many others. She was selected to play the NYC date of the Zed’s Dead 2023 Deadbeats tour. Preethi is a resident DJ for Proper Chicago Drum & Bass, CitySoul NYC, & she most recently launched her own neuro/jungle/acid techno collective & brand CLAW. She is also a crazy cat lady, a former mortician, and she can make a mean omlette.
